The ATEN 4K HDMI Single Display KVM Over IP Extender KE8950 is a professional IP-based KVM solution designed to extend computer access across networks with exceptional video quality and reliable remote management capabilities. The system includes both the KE8950T transmitter and KE8950R receiver, enabling users to remotely access and control computer systems through a USB console with HDMI display support.

The KE8950 supports ultra-high 4K HDMI video resolution up to 3840 x 2160, delivering sharp and detailed image quality for professional applications such as broadcasting, multimedia production, control centers, manufacturing facilities, and network operation centers.

Built for flexible deployment, the KE8950 supports both copper-based and fiber-based LAN connectivity. It operates over standard TCP/IP networks using Cat 5e/6 cables and also supports 1Gbps SFP fiber module expansion for extended transmission distances over fiber optic infrastructure.

The extender supports multiple deployment configurations, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-point, and multipoint-to-multipoint applications. When integrated with the ATEN KVM over IP Matrix Manager (CCKM), advanced features such as video grouping, multi-display setups, profile scheduling, and centralized device management become available for more efficient operations.

For enhanced security, the KE8950 includes AES encryption and supports RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, and remote user authentication services. Additional features such as RS-232 support, Auto MDIX, and On-Screen Display (OSD) simplify installation and improve overall system management.
