Working together with compatible KE Series transmitters, the KE8900SR allows users to remotely access and control computer systems through a USB console with HDMI display support.
The KE8900SR supports HDMI video output with resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz, delivering clear image quality and extremely low latency performance for professional environments such as broadcasting, control centers, multimedia production, and enterprise IT infrastructures.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the KE8900SR can be placed on a desk, mounted on a wall, or installed at the rear of a rack using its compact 0U rack-mount design. The receiver supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-point deployment configurations, making it suitable for scalable KVM over IP installations.
The KE8900SR also supports Virtual Media functionality and RS-232 serial commands, simplifying remote management and system integration. Multiple configuration methods are available, including local OSD, RS-232, Telnet text menu, and centralized management through the ATEN KVM over IP Matrix Manager (CCKM).
When integrated with CCKM, the KE8900SR supports advanced features such as boundless switching, fast switching, video wall functionality, multi-display support, profile scheduling, and automatic device detection across the same subnet for simplified deployment and administration.
For enhanced security, the KE8900SR includes AES encryption and supports RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, and remote user authentication services to secure video, keyboard, mouse, and USB data transmissions across the network.
