The ATEN Slim HDMI Single Display KVM Over IP Transmitter KE8900ST is a compact and high-performance IP-based KVM solution designed for secure and efficient remote computer access. This transmitter enables users to control computer systems remotely through a USB console with HDMI display support over an intranet or LAN infrastructure.
The KE8900ST supports HDMI video output with resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz, delivering clear image quality and extremely low latency performance. Its compact and slim design makes it suitable for space-limited environments such as control rooms, broadcasting facilities, multimedia production, and enterprise IT infrastructures.
Built for flexible deployment, the KE8900ST can be installed on a desk, mounted on a wall, or attached to the rear of a rack with its space-saving 0U rack-mount design. The transmitter supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-point configurations, offering scalable remote access management for professional environments.
The KE8900ST also supports Virtual Media functionality and RS-232 serial commands, helping simplify remote administration and device management. For easier installation, the transmitter includes both a standard DC power jack and an additional DC terminal block.
When integrated with the ATEN KVM over IP Matrix Manager (CCKM), the KE8900ST provides advanced features such as boundless switching, fast switching, video wall support, multi-display configuration, profile scheduling, and centralized device management. The extender also supports Slim Matrix Mode, enabling up to 12 KE Series transmitters to connect with unlimited receiver units without centralized management.
For enhanced security, the KE8900ST includes AES encryption and supports RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, and remote user authentication services to protect data transmissions and improve network security.
