The ATEN 5K DisplayPort KVM Over IP Receiver KX9970R is a high-performance IP-based receiver designed to extend keyboard, video, mouse, and USB signals over a network. This solution enables secure and flexible remote access to computer systems in professional control room, broadcast, and enterprise IT environments.

Supporting ultra-high 5K video resolution up to 5120 x 2880 at 30 Hz, the KX9970R delivers exceptional image clarity with lossless video quality and zero latency performance. It is ideal for applications that require accurate visual monitoring, including air traffic control, traffic management centers, and broadcast monitoring systems.

The KX9970R supports USB console connections with DisplayPort monitors, USB keyboards, and USB mice, allowing users to operate systems remotely while servers remain in secure and temperature-controlled locations.

For advanced network flexibility, the receiver is equipped with one RJ-45 port and dual 10-Gbps SFP+ expansion slots. This enables both copper-based and fiber-based LAN connectivity with transmission distances up to 10 km using optional SFP+ fiber modules.

The ATEN 5K KVM Over IP Receiver KX9970R also supports flexible deployment configurations, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-point, and multipoint-to-multipoint installations. When integrated with the ATEN KVM over IP Matrix Manager (CCKM), it becomes part of a scalable KVM over IP matrix system for efficient centralized management.

To ensure secure operations, the KX9970R includes advanced security features such as 256-bit AES encryption and support for RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, and TACACS+ authentication services.

Designed with reliability in mind, the receiver features dual power supply support for power redundancy and a compact 0U rack-mount design for flexible installation in racks, walls, or workstation environments.
