The ATEN 4K DisplayPort Single Display KVM Over IP Extender KE9950 is a professional IP-based KVM solution designed to extend computer access across a network while delivering exceptional video quality and reliable remote management. The system includes the KE9950T transmitter and KE9950R receiver, enabling users to control computer systems remotely through a USB console with a DisplayPort monitor, USB keyboard, and USB mouse.
Supporting ultra-high 4K DisplayPort video resolution up to 3840 x 2160 at 30Hz (4:4:4), the KE9950 provides flawless and lossless video compression with minimal latency. This makes it ideal for environments that require accurate visual monitoring and stable real-time operation.
The KE9950 supports both RJ-45 and SFP connectivity, allowing deployment over copper-based or fiber-based LAN infrastructures. With optional 1Gbps SFP fiber modules, transmission distances can be extended up to 10 km over fiber optic networks for reliable long-distance connectivity.
To ensure continuous operation, the ATEN KE9950 features dual power supply support for redundancy, helping maintain stable remote access in critical IT and control room environments.
The extender supports flexible deployment configurations, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-point, and multipoint-to-multipoint installations. When integrated with the ATEN KVM over IP Matrix Manager (CCKM), the KE9950 supports advanced functions such as boundless switching, video wall setups, multi-display applications, profile scheduling, and “Push” and “Pull” sharing.
For enhanced security, the KE9950 includes AES encryption and supports RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, and remote user authentication services. Additional features such as RS-232 support, Auto MDIX, and On-Screen Display (OSD) improve usability and simplify system integration.
With its compact 0U rack-mount design, the KE9950 can be installed on a desk, mounted on a wall, or attached to the rear of a rack.
