The ATEN Presentation Matrix Switch VP1420 is an all-in-one presentation solution that combines a video matrix switch, True 4K scaler, audio processor, and analog-to-digital converter into a compact and easy-to-deploy device. Featuring four multi-format inputs, including three HDMI inputs and one VGA input, the ATEN Presentation Matrix Switch VP1420 allows users to connect multiple presentation sources and switch between them seamlessly. With dual HDMI outputs supporting True 4K resolution, the VP1420 is ideal for meeting rooms, huddle spaces, classrooms, training facilities, exhibition galleries, and hospitality environments.
Built to enhance presentation quality, the VP1420 supports True 4K video resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz (4:4:4). Support for 4K HDR, HDMI, HDCP 2.2, and ATEN EDID Expert™ technology ensures outstanding image quality, reliable compatibility, and optimized display performance across connected devices.
The integrated scaler enables 1080p content to be upscaled to 4K for Display A while allowing 4K content to be downscaled to 1080p for Display B. This functionality helps maintain compatibility between displays with different resolution capabilities and ensures smooth presentation delivery.
The ATEN Presentation Matrix Switch VP1420 also includes advanced audio management features. Audio embedding allows stereo audio signals to be inserted into HDMI outputs, while audio de-embedding enables HDMI audio extraction to a stereo line-out connection. These capabilities provide greater flexibility for integrating external audio systems and presentation equipment.
To simplify operation, the VP1420 supports multiple control methods, including front-panel push buttons, IR remote control, RS-232 communication, Ethernet-based web GUI, and the ATEN Video Presentation Control App. This flexibility allows users and system integrators to manage presentations efficiently from various control interfaces.
