The ATEN KVM Over IP CN9850 is a 1-Local/Remote Shared Access Single Port 4K HDMI KVM Over IP Switch designed to provide secure, high-performance remote management for servers, workstations, and enterprise IT infrastructure. Supporting 4K DCI resolution up to 4096 × 2160 at 30 Hz, it delivers exceptional image quality to both local and remote users, making it ideal for mission-critical environments where visual clarity and reliable remote access are essential.

Powered by an advanced FPGA graphics processor, the ATEN KVM Over IP CN9850 delivers smoother video performance, improved image quality, and responsive remote desktop control. It also supports RS-232 serial communication, enabling seamless integration with serial-controlled equipment and automation systems.

For convenient maintenance, the ATEN KVM Over IP CN9850 features a built-in Laptop USB Console (LUC) port located on the front panel. Administrators can connect a laptop directly to the switch for local server access without requiring a separate keyboard, monitor, or mouse, simplifying routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Designed for maximum availability, the ATEN KVM Over IP CN9850 includes dual Gigabit LAN ports and dual power inputs, ensuring continuous connectivity and operational redundancy. Its intelligent power status detection automatically monitors connected devices and sends event notifications whenever a power failure or unexpected outage occurs.
