The ATEN HDMI Extender VE1821 is a professional 4K HDMI Cat 6 Extender designed to deliver high-quality HDMI signal extension over a single Cat 6 cable. Featuring a complete transmitter and receiver kit, it extends 4K UHD video up to 40 meters while maintaining exceptional image clarity and zero-latency performance, making it ideal for professional AV installations.

Supporting resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 and 3840 × 2160 @ 30 Hz (4:4:4), the ATEN HDMI Extender VE1821 ensures crystal-clear video for conference rooms, retail displays, digital signage, education, entertainment venues, and other commercial applications. It also supports premium audio formats, including LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio, providing an immersive audiovisual experience.

Designed for flexible deployment, the ATEN HDMI Extender VE1821 features an ultra-compact, palm-sized enclosure that fits easily into limited installation spaces. The transmitter includes a local HDMI output, allowing users to monitor the source signal locally or cascade additional displays without compromising signal quality.

For optimized display compatibility, the extender incorporates an EDID switch with EDID Copy Mode, enabling users to select the most appropriate display settings based on connected devices. This ensures stable video output and simplifies integration into different AV environments.

The integrated IR pass-through function allows remote control of the source device from the receiver location, providing convenient operation without requiring direct access to the source equipment. In addition, Power over Cable (PoC) technology enables the transmitter to supply power to the receiver through the Cat 6 cable, reducing installation complexity by eliminating the need for a separate power adapter at the receiver.
