Karlslunde, Denmark, September 2016 – DNP Denmark has teamed up with a Danish furniture company to create a projector cabinet for the DNP LaserPanel that keeps the projector out of sight. The projector cabinet can be combined with side cabinets, so customers can create unique integrated display and storage solutions in a clean Danish design.
From Screens to Display Solutions
The new projector cabinet is part of a range of accessories for the DNP 100 inches LaserPanel display, which was introduced in 2015. Optimized for standard ceiling heights and room for 8 to 12 people, the 100 inches DNP LaserPanel is ideal for medium-sized meeting rooms, classrooms, and training facilities.
“Until now, we have focused on designing the best displays and offering unique installation expertise. By adding furniture that can house our products beautifully, we are addressing the growing need for display solutions where AV equipment is part of the interior design”, says Soeren Kraemmergaard, VP of Sales & Marketing at DNP Denmark. The new cabinet is the result of a cooperation with a Danish furniture maker, which specializes in AV furniture for homes and offices.
Danish Design for Meeting Rooms
The projector cabinet houses the laser projector. It has an electric door for easy operation. With the push of a button, the projector slides into projection mode. All side cabinets are half the height of the projector cabinet, making two side cabinets stacked on top of each other perfectly aligned with the projector cabinet. DNP Denmark offers side cabinets with one, two or three compartments. The side cabinets come with one shelf and no front door as standard. Drawers, extra shelves and front doors in different materials and finishes, including fabric that allows sound and IR signals to pass through, can be ordered separately.
Dropping the Cost of Flat Screen Viewing
DNP LaserPanels are a category of optical flat screens that drastically drops the price of big screen viewing. The 100 inches DNP LaserPanel combines a high-contrast optical screen with a short-throw laser projector to offer pristine big-screen images at around half the cost of LCD flat screens.
The DNP LaserPanel comes as a convenient all-in-one solution. The flat screen is mounted on the wall, just like an LCD flat screen, and powered by the laser projector that is mounted either above or below the screen – e.g. in the LaserPanel projector cabinet.
The LaserPanel projector cabinet and the side cabinets are compatible with the standard version of the DNP LaserPanel.
